Submit your deposit online via the Applicant Status Portal, in-person (cash/check), or mail a check to: University of Dallas Student Accounts, 1845 E. Northgate Dr, Irving, TX 75062.
Visit the UDallas campus and immerse yourself in the life of a UDallas Crusader. Group
visits or personalized visits are both available. Students who visit campus receive
the $1,000 Campus Visit Grant.
Please complete your health form. This requires a doctor’s appointment and signature, so schedule your doctor’s visit
soon. After completing the health form, scan/photograph the pages and send to udhealthclinic@udallas.edu as attachments or mail it to:

All required forms must be approved by the UDallas Health Clinic before move-in date.
Shortly after you complete this form, the ~$2300 charge on your account will be removed.
The waiver opens May 1st and closes September 14th. If you do not waive by Sept. 14th, the approximately $2300 bill will remain on your account, and contractually, no one at UD after that can remove this charge.
Note: some health plans may not be operative in Texas, including all out-of-state Medicaid
plans. It is your responsibility to ensure your plan will function in Texas.
FERPA was a law enacted in 1974 to protect the privacy rights of students over the
age of 18. It stands for Federal Education Records Privacy Act, and it says that
only a student can decide whether to allow university officials to discuss with their parents or others
the student’s grades and academic records
the student’s university financial statements
the student’s disciplinary records
As the student, you should decide whether to sign the FERPA waiver and waive your privacy rights. You can choose for each of the categories above,
separately, which privacy rights you wish to waive. You are under no obligation to
waive any of them.

However, if you do not waive these rights, and a problem arises, those of us in Student
Life, in Financial Aid, in the Business Office, and in academics are prohibited from
discussing these matters with your parents. (Note: University officials can override
FERPA rights if a student is injured, taken to the hospital, or in danger.)
Parents: please read the above carefully and have a discussion with your student. Many times parents become upset when we cannot discuss one or more of the above
categories with you.
Nationally, a signed FERPA correlates to something like a 28% better GPA and a 25%
improvement in retention. (That’s correlation, not causation, but might be considered
nonetheless.)
The first statement for the Fall semester will be emailed to your udallas.edu email
address and uploaded to Transact on the evening of July 2nd. Please review this statement,
confirming the information on the statement is what you expected. If you have questions
about any items as they show on your statement, please refer to the UD website or
contact the responsible departments listed below:
A second statement will be distributed on July 10th. Installment Payment Plans will
open that day. Before enrolling in a Payment Plan, please review the statement carefully
to confirm it is accurate. Payment-in-full or enrollment in a Payment Plan is due no later than September 4,
2026.
Transact is an online portal used by UD to collect payments, manage payment plans,
and post statements and tax forms. Students have access to Transact through a tile
on BannerWeb – Student and can grant access to parents or other individuals. Information
on Transact is updated in real time, thus the most accurate source for information
on your student account. Please follow the link below for more information and instructions.
Each week during the semester, Student Account Services reviews student accounts for
credit balances. Those accounts found to have a credit balance are flagged and audited
to determine the source of this credit balance and, if a refund is warranted, process
a refund. There are two methods we use to disburse these refunds:
By direct deposit in a student-specified account through our partner, BankMobile
A check is printed if a student hasn’t specifically designated an account with BankMobile.
An email is sent to the student’s udallas.edu account informing the student of the
refund. The student can ask Student Account Services to mail the check or the student
can claim the check at the Cashier’s window in Cardinal Farrell Hall on campus.

After you have graduated from high school, please send your final high school transcript to UDallas. This needs to have a date of graduation and an official signature, as
well as your final cumulative GPA. (Please know that we will not use your final GPA
to reevaluate your merit scholarship).
In early June, you will receive a course selection survey. Please respond to this survey right away so that the UDallas academic dean can create
a first semester course schedule for you. You will receive a preliminary class schedule in early July. For more information, see udallas.edu/freshman-course-selection.
When you arrive at orientation, you will have your "final" schedule in your move-in
packet and your academic advisor's name. You will have the chance to meet with your
advisor during orientation, and then, if needed, you will be able to edit your schedule
before classes begin - after arriving at UDallas for orientation weekend and meeting with your academic
advisor.
If you have taken dual credit coursework in high school or a college, please ask the
awarding institution's registrar to send official transcripts directly to admissions@udallas.edu.

Go to BannerWeb and log on. Click on 1) Financial Aid box, 2) Offer, and 3) Scroll down to find "Additional
Payment Options" 4) Click "Add/View Resource" and fill out the form. You may submit
your outside scholarships electronically to our office on the Resources/Additional
Information tab. For questions, please call Financial Aid and/or Student Accounts.
All freshmen will move into their residence halls on Friday, Aug. 21. Over the summer,
students will be given a time slot for their move-in.
Orientation will run from Friday, Aug. 21, to Tuesday, Aug. 25. Parents will have
their own activities and are welcome through brunch on Sunday, Aug 23rd. Classes begin
Wednesday, Aug. 26th.
The Office of Student Life will send incoming students a detailed orientation schedule
in mid-July.
An important rule to remember when packing is that if you don't use it now, you won't
use it when you get here!

Are you flying to DFW, but have too many things to carry with you? New students may
ship boxes to campus in advance to pick up when they arrive. Just be sure to head
down to the Printing and Postal Office located in the basement of the Haggar University
Center once you arrive, and ask for the packages in your name. Be prepared to show
your University of Dallas Student ID card. The address is:

The following is a map of area hotels near the University of Dallas.
Students are welcome to have their own vehicle and park it on campus. However, students
must purchase a Parking Permit through the University of Dallas Police on-line. (To
purchase and register a vehicle; click on the button below) Pay for a Parking Permit
with a Credit Card, then pick up the Permit from the University Police Department
in Haggar during normal business hours from 8 am – 5 pm Monday thru Friday.
University of Dallas parking policies are available HERE. Vehicles must be in operating condition with current state registrations, inspections
and tags in order to be registered on campus. Students will be ticketed if parked
in a Visitor Space.
Students without personal vehicles have the option of using the public transportation
system. The DART system (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) has a bus route with a stop at
our campus. The DART system includes:
The Trinity Rail Express to Ft. Worth and Ft. Worth buses to destinations including
Sundance Square, the Ft. Worth Museum District, and the Stockyards.
The A-Train to Denton, plus all Denton buses.
The Orange Line which serves DFW Airport, Love Field, UT Southwestern Medical District and Parkland
Hospital, the American Airlines Center, downtown Dallas, the Dallas Museum District,
Mockingbird Station, SMU/Bush Library, Northpark Mall, and more.
Connections to McKinney Avenue trolley, Fair Park, and the Dallas Zoo.
